Of the 37 people who said they had removed plants
from their stock, 34 could cite which plants. (One person who responded
"no" said that they had removed Hedera helix and Vinca.)
One filled out the field for plant names by typing “MY GARDEN IS
MY DOMAIN”. 2 said that they did not believe that they sell any
plants that are currently invasive. Three wrote “all of the above”
which I took to mean “all of the plants that I said were invasive”
because in all cases the respondent had not said that all five plants
were invasive in Q11.
Often the respondents referred to plants by common
names, in which case I have put quotes around the name that they
used; in those cases the botanical name is my inference. Asterisks
(*) indicate the respondent’s original spelling, which I may have
misinterpreted.
