Rapid Hepatitis C Testing: Know the Facts
Hepatitis C is a virus that infects the liver. It is five times more common than HIV, with approximately 5 million people in the US infected with hepatitis C virus (HCV). Most people who are infected with HCV do not have any symptoms. Damage to the liver may be slow and happen over many years.
