About Me:
Hello I am Tristan, and I work on Erythromycin Resistance in S.coelicolor and Lignin Biodegradation. I enjoy discovering new knowledge by means of research, and hope to be doing that a lot throughout my life. My main scientific interests lie in the area of metabolism: Biosynthesis, Biodegradation, Metabolomics, Metabolic Engineering. As I'm still an undergraduate at Brown, I'm looking for places to perform graduate work in these fields.
My main non-academic interest lies in music; I play percussion (mostly drums) in a little band at Brown and arrange and compose music regularly.
