Mission Statement         Our mission is to improve human health everywhere in the world. To that end, we are developing vaccines that will be effective and deliverable under "developing world" conditions. We believe education is equally as important as research, and therefore we also teach about vaccines and promote education about good clinical practices related to the management of infectious diseases in the form of a monthly fax/email newsletter. To achieve our goal, we aim to build a "Center for Vaccine Research and Development" cooperative" here at Brown and to improve international collaborations related to vaccines and infectious disease management.
