Professor Marston joined the Brown Physics Department in 1991. A graduate of Caltech, he received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1989. He did postdoctoral work at Cornell University and was a visiting scientist at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at UC Santa Barbara, a visiting professor at MIT and ENS Lyon, a visiting associate at Caltech, and a general member of the KITP. Prof. Marston is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.  He is Director of the Brown Theoretical Physics Center and vice-president of the American Physical Society in 2024.  Visit his official Brown page and his Research Group for more information.
