Preparing for your interview
When we return to campus each January, we begin hosting leader interviews. We allow every applicant an opportunity to meet with two current BOLT Leaders to ask questions about the program and to discuss their application, interest, abilities and skills for a leader position. We recommend that you preview the information available on the website about the program. Our site offers a great deal of information regarding our history, philosophy, values, training commitments and the overall program calendar that can help you with considering a leader position within the program. |

In your interview you can expect the following:
- You will meet with two interviewers who are current BOLT leaders
- Your interviewers are prepared to meet with you for about 30-40 minutes
- Their goal is to learn more about you as an applicant for a leader position
Lastly, you will be asked to give a 5 minute short lesson (here are some tips):
- Be engaging and interactive (we are an experiential program)
- Teach something you enjoy
- Practice giving your lesson
- Test the lesson out to see if it is around 5 minutes in length
- Be prepared to teach to both instructors

As a leader, you will be asked at the begining of training to complete both a medical form for emergency purposes and a liability waiver.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a BOLT Leader!
