Student Group Staffing

Group staffing is a great way to earn money for your student group! Each working member of your group will earn $7.80/hour which then goes to your group to help fund your favorite activities or projects.

Interested groups can sign up to work a shift:

• Gate – Friday or Saturday night. Each shift requires 4 workers.
• Josiah's – Nights during the first six weeks of a semester. The early shift is from 5:30pm-10pm, and the late shift is from 10pm-2:30am. Each shift require 3 workers.
• Football Concessions – In the fall, there are group staffing opportunities for shifts at the stand during the Saturday home games.

Policy on Meal Credit Donations & Donation Boxes

As you might imagine, Brown Dining receives many fundraising requests for many good causes. Over the years we have decided to focus our efforts on the Fast for a World Harvest which benefits Oxfam America. A meal credit donation event is held at the Ratty in conjunction with many other colleges and universities throughout the U.S.

Due to logistical constraints, we are unable to support other requests for meal credit donations. We also receive many requests for donation boxes in our dining halls or retail eateries. Due to both liability and counter space concerns, we cannot allow donation boxes at this time.
