Meeting & Dining Space in the Sharpe Refectory

Below seating capacity adjusts with the set up:

Chancellors Dining Room and Annex

  • Minimum of 35 guest required to book Chancellors Dining Room
  • 120 Guests Maximum – Sit Down Served Luncheon or Dinner
  • 100 Guest Maximum – Buffet Style Luncheon or Dinner
  • 200 Guest Maximum – Stand Up Reception Style

Chancellors Annex

  • 35 Guest Maximum for Either Buffet or Sit Down
  • No Minimum Required

Dining Rooms 8 & 9

  • Minimum of 25 guest required to book Dining Room 8 & 9
  • 100 Guests Maximum – Sit Down Served Luncheon or Dinner
  • 90 Guest Maximum – Buffet Style Luncheon or Dinner
  • 150 Guest Maximum – Stand Up Reception Style

President’s Dining Room

  • Maximum of 22 guests for Either Buffet or Sit Down
  • Table set up limited to Boardroom Style
  • No rounds available in this space
*Each Room has a minimum food expenditure of $150.00. If the food minimum is not met a room rental of $100.00 will be charged

Andrews Dining Hall
Brown University Catering exclusively caters all events held in Andrews Dining Hall.

  • Minimum of 100 guest required to book Andrews Dining Hall
  • 400 Guests Maximum – Sit Down Served Luncheon or Dinner
  • 300 Guest Maximum – Buffet Style Luncheon or Dinner
  • 500 Guest Maximum – Stand Up Reception Style

Outside Food

  • Brown University Catering caters all events held on campus unless approved by your catering coordinator through Brown First.
  • No outside food or beverage can be brought into the Sharpe Refectory, including Chancellors Dining Room, Chancellors Annex, Dining Rooms 8 & 9, President's Dining Room and Main Dining Room.
