Benjamin Aronow '13, Economics and Music concentrator, Brother of Alpha Epsilon Pi
What else are you involved with on campus?
At Brown, I have been involved in Club Golf, The Maimonides Leaders Fellowship, the Applied Music Program, and A Cappella. Brothers of AEPi are involved in all sorts of extracurricular groups around campus including WBRU, the BDH, Tae Kwon Doe and the Rhode Island Urban Debate League.
Why did you choose to join a greek house?
I decided to join AEPi because of the character of the brothers and the tight knit community. After rushing and spending time getting to know the brothers and other rushes, I decided that AEPi was a place that would enhance my experience at Brown both intellectually and socially. Living in a college dorm, I missed having a place that I could really call home, and in AEPi I found one.
What is your favorite memory of your AEPi?
My favorite memory of recruitment was the Shabbat Dinner I attended. It was the first time that I had seen the entire brotherhood together and it helped me realize that AEPi was a community in the truest sense of the word. Great conversation and delicious food was enjoyed by all.
