Four years ago, the Brothers of AEPi founded Environment for a Cure, an annual charity fundraiser dedicated to improving the quality of life of young cancer patients at Hasbro Children's Hospital here in Providence. Since then, we have raised over $65,000 to provide furniture and child-friendly medical equipment for the new Pediatric Oncology Center and to fund counseling seminars for patients and their families. This year, we hope to fund a martial arts palliative care program to help the children cope with the stress of cancer treatment.
