Your Health Services fee also covers visits to our in-house
dermatology clinic with our consultant dermatologist. You
must see a Health Services provider first to be referred to
a dermatology clinic.
The Health Services fee does
cover special procedures such as skin biopsy, however lab
charges associated with skin biopsies are not covered. Your
insurance policy, however, may cover the cost.
Due to the high demand for
dermatology appointments and the cost associated with "no
shows," Health Services will assess a charge to patients
who do not show up for an appointment and have not cancelled
the appointment 24 hours ahead of time.
