Lab

Lab samples may be collected at Health Services and forwarded to an independent lab (Quest Diagnostics) with whom we contract for laboratory services. The specimens are sent to Quest lab for results, most of which are available in 24 - 48 hours.

The following tests are performed at Health Services and are covered by your Health Services Fee - urine test, urine pregnancy test, finger stick blood sugar and occult blood testing.

The lab is open from 9:00am - 5pm Monday through Friday when classes are in session. It is located on the 2nd floor of Health Services. When school is not in session, Health Services providers can obtain specimens and will send them to the laboratory.

Quest can accept most insurances. Please speak with the lab technician/provider directly about your individual insurance. If you have questions regarding a lab bill, you can contact Quest's billing department at 1-800-225-5714.

Can I have lab work ordered by my doctor at home done at Health Services?

Yes, come to Health Services during clinic hours and sign at the reception desk. The medical assistant will assist you in having the testing done. Results will be forwarded to your provider at home.
