Latino Student Progams

Latino Student Programs in the Office of Student Life at Brown University aims to: 1. Assist first-year Latino/a students with their transition to Brown; 2. Collaboratively contribute to the quality of community life for Latino students; 3. Provide shared spaces for on-going learning, dialogue, and leadership development; 4. Provide advice, advocacy, counseling, mentoring, support and referral services; 5. Raise campus awareness about Latino/a issues; 6. Connect Latino students with the greater Providence Latino community.

Current programs include the Conexiones Mentoring Program which connects incoming first-year students with upper-class students and the Latino Luncheon Series which provides students an opportunity to connect with fellow students and dialogue on a variety issues related to the Latino community at Brown and beyond.
