1. Lottery:

Revisions to the Grapevine
- Look over the last year's Grapevine and e-mail Ross with any
suggestions or changes that you think should be made (besides the obvious
ones due to the new system of assigning numbers for each segment). Also,
contact the houses to which you are a liaison, and ask them if they want to
rewrite the description of their house that appears under the program house
section of the Grapevine. If so, tell them to e-mail Ross with the
changes. If not, the description will stay the same.

2. Discussion about Gender Distribution:
- Ross explained the current system of how Res. Life designates a
certain percentage of suites/rooms in each segment of the lottery as male
or female housing based on the number of males and females who enter that
segment.
- The Council then discussed at length the pros and cons of getting
rid of this gender designation.

3. Recommendation:
- A recommendation was made to not designate gender for any rooms
or suites EXCEPT in Morriss-Champlin and Emery-Wooley, where there are
rooms clustered around a bathroom. The Council voted on this proposal:
In Favor: 7
Opposed: 4
Abstentions: 0

Meeting Adjourned: 12:50 P.M.
