Fellowships
Undergraduate Teaching and Research Awards (UTRAs)
UTRAs were established to provide opportunities for collaborative work between students and faculty members and to allow students to gain insights into the day-to-day process of research and course development. Students may apply for fall, spring, and summer UTRAs.
Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF)
The Mellon Mays Fellowship Program aims to increase the number of individuals from underrepresented minority groups in faculty positions at colleges and universities. Eligible students include underrepresented minorities, or other students with a demonstrated commitment to eradicating racial disparities in higher education. Sophomores who are currently enrolled in or interested in designated disciplines at Brown are eligible to apply.
