Lee Busabos '93, Bristol, RI; August 24.
He was a research assistant for the Coalition of Essential Schools. The 1993 student Commencement Speaker, Busabos was an outspoken advocate for people with disabilities while at Brown. He founded the Association for a Better Learning Environment (ABLE), and his undergraduate thesis evaluated ease of access to campus buildings for people with disabilities.

He also cofounded the Filipino Alliance and was a member of the Undergraduate Council of Students and the Asian American Student Association. He was active in theater and had two of his plays produced on campus. He performed stand-up comedy at University talent shows and was emcee for Asian Arts festival '90. After graduation he taught at Summerbridge, a summer program in Tulane University in New Orleans. He is survived by his parents, Domingo and Winifreda Busabos, 96 Mulberry Rd., Bristol, 02809.
