Chester Wellington Chinn - Class of 1920

Excerpt from Yearbook "Liber Brunensis" p. 38

CHESTER WELLINGTON CHINN, Riverside, R. I.
"Chet"

Here he is‹Chet! After figuring up the car-fare between Providence and Riverside, he decided to take a short cut and finish his college course in three years. And Chet can tell exactly how many dimes he has saved and how many mudholes he has avoided by so doing, for, although Riverside is in the Town of East Providence, it has none of the blessings of paved and lighted streets. In the days when Jumbo was the exalted ruler of the Circle, one of his chief hand-maidens was Chet. He never failed to taring a hamburg when chicken was ordered and you were sure of an appetite by the time he got to You. Doc Arnold kept him pretty busy in the Chem. Lab. during his first two years and now he spends most of his time in the Physics Lab. doping out Kepler's Laws or down at Arnold cutting up cats and fishes. And Chet needs the practice, for he is destined to go to Harvard Medical School next year. Go to it and good luck!
