Excerpt from Yearbook "Liber Brunensis" p. 163

JAY MAYO WILLIAMS, Monmouth, Ill.
"Ink" "Duke" "Speed"
Football (2) (3) (4); Track (2) (3) (4).

Introducing "Ink", the star end. We have seldom seen him miss a takle, and have never sen him emerge from scrimmage without a 5 inch grin. Not only does he excel in making his way thru interference, but also in executing end around plays. He has a warhoop that defies description. This dusky warrior is as fast as on the cinders as he is on the gridiron. In the dashes he shakes a fleet pair of heels. Au revior, "Ink."
