First of all, thanks to everyone who made it to the meeting and/or the Day of Remembrance!

A couple of things I promised to send out:

If I hear anything about the Asian American leadership meeting tomorrow at 7 p.m. I'll send out an email.

OCA leadership training will be at Brown on March 12th and 13th! I've heard it's great and that not too may people have signed up yet... So you should all register at: http://www.ocanatl.org/bin/htmlos/03131.3.1823310342700007028/1004050

Also, for our bonding trip to Boston this Sunday, here is the plan:
1) Meet at the Van Wickle Gates at 8:50 a.m.
2) Catch the 9:20 a.m. Bonanza Bus from Kennedy Plaza
3) Arrive at South Station in Boston at 10:30 a.m.
4) Take the T to shopping in Downtown Crossing
5) Take the T to dim sum in Chinatown
6) Catch athe 3:00 p.m. Bonanza Bus from South Station in Boston
7) Arrive back at Kennedy Station at 4:00 p.m.
8) Be back at Brown by 4:30 p.m.

Until next meeting...
Chris will be taking care of tsunami relief benefit volunteer schedule.
Eddie will be working on our BTS table.
Terrence will be leading the Arts Fest committee.
I will be leading the Yuri lecture committee.

Japanese American Day of Remembrance, former intern will speak and there will be a discussion afterwards; happening on Feb. 23

Tsunami relief (Chris)

- working on fundraising letters; send out by end of Feb.
- Judge Lim can't come; search for replacement

AASA E-Board,

Thanks to everyone who came out to tonight's meeting. Here's the update:

The Activities Fair is Thursday, February 10 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in Faunce House. Jen Kuo will be organizing a schedule for people to man our table. Jessica K. has reserved the table.

A4's (Asian American Alumni Alliance's) Career Panel is Saturday, February 12 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM in Pembroke Hall. AASA will help with publicity.

Asian Arts Fest is on Saturday, March 3 at 7 PM. Terrence is heading up the committee which met yesterday. All proceeds will go to Tsunami Relief.

Korean American alumna Marie Lee is having a bookreading at the Brown Bookstore on the evening of Thursday, April 14. AASA will help with publicity.

Japanese American activist Yuri Kochiyama will be giving AASA's 35th Anniversary Lecture. The tentative/possible dates are Monday, April 11 and 13. We will also be inviting Judge Lillian Lim of Los Angeles who is one of the founding members of AASA. Jane and Yang will be heading up fundraising for the event. Regina and Dale will be working on publicity. Jessica K will be responsible for scheduling.

Chris will be serving as AASA's community liason, starting with tsunami relief efforts on campus. Hopefully we will also be holding a pizza dinner meeting with the Asian American groups on campus to discuss collaboratin for the 35th Anniversary Lecture. Dean K from the TWC has volunteered to provide the food.

Allan with be our new official photographer!

And we are postponing the election for a new co-chair or vice chair until more people are able to attend the meeting. So be there next time on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the TWC office.
