Adopt a Co-oper

As many people know, it is hard to be a co-oper. We are subject every day to nothing but tofu and wild East Side property taxes. With spirits high, the co-ops press on, but we need your help!

Fortunately, adopting a BACH co-oper has never been easier. By signing up, you'll be assigned to a real live BACH co-oper. We'll send you a sentimental picture of the co-oper you've adopted! Over the course of time, you'll stay in touch with your co-oper; this way you can learn about co-op news and we can strengthen our cultural bonds with those who've passed one. It's a two-way street, ya see.

The suggested donation for the Program is $50 per semester. Reminder: contributions to BACH are tax-deductible If you would like to participate but are unable to contribute financially, that is fine as well. Just make sure to have good stories.

To get started, send us an email that says I want to adopt a co-oper! Please also mention how much you are willing to pledge per semester so we know. Send donations to the P.O. box address at the bottom of this page as cash or checks made out to Brown Association for Cooperative Housing. We will send you the tax forms for donations as we receive them. Make sure include a clearly-written return address. Give us about a week to line you up with a co-oper.
