Houses

The house is the primary unit of BACH life. We live in our houses, eat in them, work on them, clean them, and break them. To truly know BACH one must read, literally, what is written on our walls and what necessary accouterments of modern life are broken. A BACH house is a kind social order embodied in drywall and hardwood.

At present, the BACH Empire lords over two humble houses on Waterman Street in Providence.. In the past, though, we've lived in other places, lost some, been evicted from time to time, but all are loved dearly. These pages are devoted to our sweet loves, the houses that hold us and have held us inside them.

There are the active houses...

Watermyn - 166 Waterman Street

Finlandia - 116 Waterman Street

And those now passed...

Carberry and Milhous.

Remember of course that the best way to gaze on our houses is to come on by! We love to hear the stories of the old folks and to tell them to the new ones. All you got to do is knock.
