Milhous
A BACH House No Longer
Milhous was one of the two original BACH houses leased from
Brown, along with Carberry. The lease was
terminated in the late '90s. Read Letters from Alumni and
Students supporting the co-ops. Desite the letters, and lengthy
negotiations, the last residents of Milhous left in Fall '97. Brown
officials sited a need for additional office space when the lease
was terminated. The house has not yet been restored, with the
exception of exterior paint, or occupied.
The house is located at 67 Charlesfield St., and you can still go there to see how beautiful and unused it is.
