BRIO 2002 Alumni Reception in New York City |
|||
Natalia Hojny held a reception for international and internationally minded alum in New York in support of the BRIO Scholarship II. Natalia, of Polish descent, was one of the original founders of the BRIO Scholarship as a student at Brown in 199. She has remained involved with BRIO and the scholarship effort ever since, and is committed to reaching the goal of funding four BRIO scholarships for international students. The reception, held at the New York residence of fellow alumnus, Ali Irani, proved a great success, with giveaways and raffle prizes, among them a weekend in Tuscany. About 30 alums were in attendance, and on the night over $30,000 were raised towards the BRIO Scholarship II. She hopes that this will be the first of many events, both in New York and around the world in support of the BRIO Scholarship. We too would like to extend our thanks to Natalia and all who contributed to the success of the reception. |
