Brown University Gilbert and Sullivan will be hosting its annual Sing-In on April 28th. For those of you that don't know, a sing in is an all day event where people from around the country come here to Brown, people volunteer for parts, and we sing through a bunch of Gilbert and Sullivan pieces, and have a grand old time.
This year we will be singing through HMS Pinafore, the Gondoliers, Yeomen of the Guard, Trial by Jury, the beginning of Iolanthe's Act 2, the Mikado Act 1 finale, and closing up with a rousing rendition of "Hail Poetry."
The registration fee is $20 for the general public and $5 for students. Any willing pianists come for free! We will be going to Fire and Ice again for dinner (if you have any dietary issues please let us know!).
This year's Sing-In will be in the Steiner building on the corner of Hope and Power street.
