General Announcements:
-Michelle's animation that's been eating her life is done-- Thursday
4pm 4th Floor CIT, there will be food!
-Send Iolanthe & gen. BUGS pictures to Jon
-if anyone wants to discuss something at the next BUGS meeting, please
email it to Leila before the day of the meeting and she'll make it a
part of the meeting agenda

Committee Reports:
Webmaster (ichikawa@gmail.com):
-minutes will be online for all to read
-website in progress
-pictures from Iolanthe?  send them to Jonathan
-orchestra listserv being set up in the next few days
-Mikado pictures will be up as well

Treasurer (Malka_Key@brown.edu):
-ppl needing checks should talk to Malka & folks who can sign checks
-need to make Malka a signatory first thing when we get back so she can
reimburse people

Publicity (Joshua_Feintuch@brown.edu)
-tableslipping was awesome!
-we'll publicize for a second call for male chorus the first weekend of classes

Director (Ronald_Beimel@brown.edu):
-we have a cast!
-we have some crew members, but we need more: stage manager, production
manager, costume designer, set designer, props
-hunting for a rehearsal space-- so far we've thought of the mythical
piano lounge in grad center (alyssa can reserve it), the adphi lounge,
spaces in hillel, orwig 315--  other ideas?
-Michelle & Leila volunteer to sew costumes over break under direction
of costume director, also Leila can buy fabric for cheap at downtown LA

-all the Iolanthe crap is still in Michelle's room, please REMOVE IT
before Friday

Social Chair (mocharnuk@physics.brown.edu)
-need a meet the cast-crew-orchestra party, Fri or Sat night when we
first get back from break-- we need to think of venues
-also cast party v.2.0 (new & improved)

Secretary (Leila_Chakravarty@brown.edu)
-Leila is emailing AND bringing a hard copy of the constitution to UCS along with a members list
Archivist (Celloshots@gmail.com)
-13 vocal scores & 3 full scores for pirates (one for BUGS one for Ron)
-michelle is going to email ned when we have the new show
-sam is making orchestra parts over break
-sam doesn't have storage for everything we own, once we're a UCS group
we'll get storage space
-sam has a mess of mikado music belonging to BUGS, alyssa will help sam
sort music

President (Jessica_Marquardt@brown.edu)
-looking into singing at a nursing home
-we may sing some numbers from "Pirates" at community music works in
April
-going to a high school to sing

Business:
constitution & amendments:
-discuss at general body meeting at the first meeting of the new
semester, Thursday Feb. 2nd when we get back at 9:15 location TBA

hosting a sing-in:
-a Saturday 11am-7pm, sing through 4ish shows, and several big chorus
pieces  (Patience, Pirates, Yeoman, Grand Duke) email in if people want
to be cast, will be after the show next semester-- April 8th, April
15th, or May 6th

other sources of funding:
-we can apply to the Creative Arts Council for a $500 mini-grant,
Ariane has the application
-Ariane also has the GSC grant information-- our fabulous grad students
are planning to present our case.
-does anyone know other sources of money?

Appointments:
-Jonathan moves to appoint Michelle to kill her CS
-Sam & Jonathan moves to appoint Josh to the position of Colonel
Mustard with the assignment of conspiring to kill Michelle's CS group
in the Library with the candlestick
