2-17-04 Update __ As you may know, The Roger Williams University College
Republicans will be handing out their "White Scholarship"
today in protest of Affirmative Action. This scholarship has caused
tremendous amounts of national media attention. (go to rwucr.com for

is the latest New York Times article About an hour ago, I was contacted by local talk-radio host, Brian Bishop. He wants to have some College Republicans on air at 4pm TODAY to discuss the issue, but the Roger Williams CR's are busy fielding national media attention, as well as potential disciplinary action. Is there anyone who feels strongly about this issue that
wants to discuss it on the radio today? If you are free from 4-5pm today,
Mr. Bishop would love to have you come down to his studio. Let me emphasize
it doesn't matter whether you support the white scholarship, or you
oppose it. He would like to hear from either viewpoint. (The studio
is within walking distance, and I would be going there with you, so
