10-27-03 Update __ College Republicans, Our next general body meeting will be held this Thursday, October 30th in Wilson 103. We will discuss plans for future events, and talk a about some of the reaction to the Horowitz lecture. In case you didn't hear, the campus diversity director called the event a "waste of time." http//www.browndailyherald.com/stories.asp?storyID=1723 I hope that we can brainstorm some ideas for how to react to the administration's constant marginalizing of right-wing viewpoints. Also, the College Dems will be hosting another Soapbox debate this Thursday at Noon outside the Ratty. (Unless otherwise indicated, this will be a weekly event, same time and place) The topic will be "Bush Hatred Reality or Liberal Foolishness?" In other words, is wrath for George W. Bush something that will resonate with most Americans or simply left-wing ranting that won't win the White House in 2004? Best, |
