1) Ultimate Frisbee game TOMORROW (Friday) at 1pm on
the Main Green
Just a reminder that the Ultimate Frisbee game against the College Democrats
is happening tomorrow at 1pm on the Main Green. We are still looking
for more people to play, so stop by and join in, or come watch and cheer
us on. It's just a friendly game, so all skill levels welcome.
2) AIDS Conference
The College Republicans have been asked to help out with an upcoming
conference about AIDS. According the Sam Hodges, the organizer, they
are trying to get a panel of students from across the Brown community
who can engage on the topic of "AIDS and Development." They
think that a representative from the College Republicans may have an
important place on this panel (along with panelists from the Brown Journal
of World Affairs, the UCS, the College Democrats, the Debate Union,
and the IR and/or Econ DUGS). This panel is still very much in its planning
stages, but regardless of its final form they think the College Republicans
should have a place.
If you have a special interest in AIDS issues, please
let me know. GOP@brown.edu. I'll be meeting with the organizers early
next week, so I'll probably have an update then as well.

The Spectator Website is up and running, with several articles posted
from our upcoming November Issue. There's an article by David Horowitz,
an interview with the Diversity Dean, and some great student features.
