The Brown Outing Club provides a place for Brown students who love the outdoors to get together and find others who share their interests. Our contact list of over 850 students allows members to plan outdoor adventures with the entire BOC community. Any BOC member can plan exciting trips of their own, with the club supplying gear, travel subsidies, and a place to find people with enthusiasm and expertise. The club is managed by the Executive Committee, which holds informal and open meetings every second Wednsday, to plan the many BOC trips and social events available throughout the year for our members to participate in. In addition, we maintain an extensive inventory of outdoor gear, available for any member to borrow free of charge. Stop by our fully stocked office in Faunce 234 between 12 and 1 on a weekday to see the selection and borrow what you need.
