The 2008-2009 school year has ended and the Brown'sTones have said goodbye to three very talented and beautiful Brown'sTones:

We're gearing up for the 2009-2010 year and are organizing plenty of shows for you to see!

If you are interested in hosting and performing with Brown's sassiest all-female a cappella group on your campus, please email one of our business directors, Danielle Crumley or Margaret Merritt.

Brown'sTones is the youngest female a cappella group at Brown University; Melissa Lai '94 and Anna Russakoff '95 founded the group in 1992, and our membership, repertoire and skill level have been on the rise ever since. The group size has ranged from 7-18 women; we hold auditions in September and February. We sing a variety of music, from Paul Simon to Rihanna, Guster to Madonna, Gladys Knight to U2.

Brown'sTones loves to sing at any and all functions! We do birthday parties (young and old), office parties, bring your daughter to work day, weddings, fundraisers, anything you like!
