Third World Welcome
Third World Welcome (TWW) is an overnight experience, usually held in April, designed to expose African American, Asian American, Bi/Multiracial, Latino, and Native American students to the Third World community at Brown. The program is held following A Day on College Hill (ADOCH) and complements its overarching experience. TWW provides a space for admitted students and their parents to discuss and ask questions about aspects of student life at Brown that pertain specifically to students of color. Students will stay in first-year dorms with Brown students of color, enjoy performances from cultural and ethnic-based student groups, and have many opportunities to learn about the academic and social experiences of students of color at Brown.
