'Developmental Neurobiology,' Neuro 104, taught by Professor Fallon, explores the fundamental mechanisms underlying neural development. The requirements for taking this course are Neuro 102 and Bio 20. Many students also suggested Bio 47, Genetics, as an important course for this class. Neuro 104 is mainly for concentrators and graduate students.

Respondents complimented the professor on his clarity during lectures and his enthusiasm for the subject. When some of the curriculum became a little overwhelming, Professor Fallon's passion for neuroscience and passion for teaching kept the class intriguing. A few complained that he was not always organized in his presentation of the material, although they still appreciated his knowledge in the area. Overall, students were pleased with the professor and his manner of teaching.

On average, students enrolled in the course spent about two to four hours a week studying. There were two exams and a final, in addition to an assigned paper. Reviewers were generally agreeable to the amount of work the class required. They also felt that the tests and papers were appropriately challenging and added to the value of the course.

Most students recommended the class to anybody planning to concentrate in neuroscience. They felt that the professor did a fine job with the class and that he kept the information quite interesting.

In short, the curriculum coupled with the professor made the class a favorite among its students. Both informational and enjoyable, this class is a great choice for neuroscience concentrators and enthusiasts alike.
