According to the instructor, "Health and Human Reproduction" intends to provide students with a conceptualization of women's health issues, reproduction, and growth in infancy through the discussion of the medical, social, and environmental factors influencing women's health.

The reviewers found the professor to be understanding and knowledgeable about the material. She truly listened to the respondents, remaining open to suggestions or comments on the lectures. The students also appreciated the fact that the professor placed her lecture notes on the Internet. However, they mentioned that she merely read off the lecture slides in class. In addition, the respondents noticed a lack of discussion in class. Professor Verma realized that the students enjoyed the discussion sessions, and she wishes to increase the amount of class time devoted to discussions in the future.

The reviewers, on average, spent four hours per week on course work and four hours per week on their internship outside of class. The workload consisted of five homework assignments, one project, one midterm, and a final exam. The majority of students devoted a moderate amount of effort to the course.

To improve the course, the respondents suggested that the professor create a lecture outline so that they could follow it during the lecture. In addition, they found the grading criteria vague. Overall, however, the students enjoyed the course, and learned a great deal in the process. The class motivated the reviewers to seek out related courses in order to learn more about health and human reproduction. The professor also provided the students with many opportunities for participation, although she did not observe Reading Period.

The class" internship, a unique opportunity for the respondents, motivated them to work. They devoted a great deal of time to this project, as they were truly interested in what they did. Most students were happy with this course, and if you have an interest in women's health issues and would like to get involved with the community, it's worth a try.
