Hello! Welcome to the Emerging Green Builders website! I am a senior concentrating in psychology.
I started EGL to bring together an interdisciplinary forum of students, Brown staff and members of
the Rhode Island Green Building Council creating a holistic perspective and sustainable learning environment.

Josh Morrison - joshuaisaacmorrison@gmail.com
Josh Morrison is a senior Environmental Studies and Urban Studies concentrator. He has been teaching within
the Environmental Studies department for 2 years and helped form the sustainable design track within the concentration.
He spent his last semester studying urban design in Copenhagen and is currently working on a thesis developing a
green entrepreneurship program for a new college in south providence. He is excited about the many great things to
come from the Emerging Green Leaders chapter at Brown.

Josh Lehman - Joshua_Lehman@brown.edu
I am a Senior concentrating in Environmental Science. My academic focus is on sustainable design, and energy efficiency
in particular. Over the past few summers, I have worked for an architecture firm, a sustainable consulting company, and
in a real estate project management office. I became a LEED AP this past August. I am excited to be involved and looking
forward to making the best out of the group's first year.

Aaron Ball - Aaron_Ball@Brown.edu
While studying at the University of Rhode Island, Aaron participated in several
research programs and gained experience with innovative environments. Aaron was
involved in the development of ideas from concepts to reality, partook in team building,
strategic planning and product development. This practical experience enhances Aaron's
Bachelors of Science in both Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. Before coming to
Brown University to pursue a Masters in innovation management, Aaron spent a year
working at the Massachusetts General Hospital developing a patient tracking
and reminding system.

Alex Hughs - alexander_hughes@brown.edu
Alexander Hughes is a native of New York and class of '10 at Brown University.
A concentrator in American History and Economics, his coursework in North American
Environmental History in his first year spurred a growing and continued interest in environmental
sustainability and green issues. His other interests include social, economic, and educational
development stemming out of his experience teaching English in a developing region in Panama.
He is also actively involved in the business staff of the Brown Daily Herald.

I'm a sophomore from Honolulu, Hawaii. I'm majoring in urban studies, but my interests also include
architecture and economics. In my free time, I like to run, read, and cook.
Bryant University

Marisa Bono - mbono@bryant.edu
Marisa Bono is a member of the class of 2011 at Bryant University. She is a staff
writer for the Archway newspaper and has raised environmental awareness through her
weekly "Going Green" articles. A Business major and Spanish minor, she is passionate
about achieving a high level of sustainability in the Bryant community. By working
with Brown University's chapter of Emerging Green Leaders as well as the Rhode Island
Green Building Council, she is in the process of forming a chapter of Emerging Green
Leaders at Bryant.
