Each department is represented in the GSC by a number of representatives proportional to the number of grad students in that department. Any grad student is welcome to attend the monthly meetings of the GSC and participate in discussions during them, but only representatives may vote.
Departments are free to choose their representatives however they like. If your department does not have a GSC representative, please find one and then have this person participate in the monthly GSC meetings, etc. If you are interested in being a representative, please get in touch with one of your department’s current representatives; if that’s not possible for some reason, please contact the GSC officers. Note that a department that consistently fails to send a representative to GSC meetings loses its good standing with the GSC, which affects its ability to apply for a departmental rebate.
New representatives, please get in touch with one of the officers so that this list can be updated to reflect your department’s status.
