Spring Break Tour 2002
East Coast, USA

Kate relaxes at Joe's house in Philly after our first long drive.

Hangin' at Joe's.

Annie gets friendly with Hershey while Miranda casts a hex on him.

After a great dinner of spagetti and meatballs, we head off to our first gig at Swarthmore with the Sticks and Stones.

All smiles at Swarthmore after our death march across
campus in the freezing cold.

Kate's caught making out with her sleeping bag.

After Swarthmore, we head to Washington, DC for our gig with
the Georgetown Phantoms.

Here, we pose with a statue after the show.
(It was the source of waaay too much fun.)

The next day we dash off to our hotel
and get into the sun as fast as possible for some good ol' monumenting.

Struttin' in DC.

Miranda, and indeed most everyone involved, are exceptionally
excited as they spot the apparent name of this DC eatery.

At the Washington Monument.

Kate makes a dramatic lunge for the frizbee.

Two babes brighten the view of the Lincoln Memorial.

Jon looks sketchy.

Kate gets personal with the Washington Monument.

On the steps of the Jefferson Memorial.

Miranda and Emily at the Jefferson Memorial.

Having ventured forth from Providence, we reacquaint ourselves with the sun.

Caroline and Miranda at the FDR Memorial.

Jon makes a decree from a waterfall in the FDR Memorial,
while James is all smiles.

Kate, Gen, and Annie meet Eleanor.

Seth and Kate take a break after the Vietnam Memorial. In the background: the Washington Monument, James leaping for the frisbee, and a random kid.

The sun begins to dip in the sky as we finish our tour of the Washington
Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, the FDR Memorial, the Korean War
Memorial, the Lincoln Monument, and the Vietnam Memorial.

Hungry and tired from walking, we take a break in front of the capital...

... and are easily amused by our shadows. Someone, give us food, please!

Seth, the personnification of chivalry (and the webmaster), gives Kate a lift.

Jon, on the other hand, saddles up on Carrie to soothe his aching feet during the home
stretch to the Mexican restaurant.

What?! The restaurant's on siesta! Miranda, your ass is grass!

Thank God we found another one.

Back in the car, we head off to UNC. Look! An army convoy!
Easily amused, we take pictures...

Our resident supermodel strikes a pose.

Once at UNC, we gather before our gig with the TarHeels.

The night wears on and we get bored. James makes friends with
the garlic salt. (don't ask)

After a short night's sleep we hop in the car to get to Myrtle Beach as
early as possible.

The girls in the hotel lobby...

... and the boys.

Seth and Miranda explore the balcony before everyone breaks out the beachwear.

After some much-needed beach time, we hop back in the cars and head
to Duke. We guffaw at their incredible campus food, sing a bit, and get up
early for the long schlep to Princeton.

On the way from Duke to Princeton, Kate's trip meter hits 700 and
there is much rejoice. Wait, is Kate speeding?!

We sing with the Princeton Nassoons and head out looking
for some fun at their "Eating Clubs."

In the end, we are unimpressed with the party scene. Jon prepares to go on a murderous rampage.

The madman is caught on film as he terrorizes campus.

Ahh!

Weary of Princeton and weary in general, a few of us make for Jon's apartment in New York City. We quickly head out for some shopping on Fifth Avenue.

Awww...

Genevieve does New York.

Out to dinner, Emily and Kate love NY with Em's doggy bag.

The girls on Jon's roof.

The NYC crew poses for a final shot before heading home.
