Kei Yamawaki, Co-President

Brown '10

Kei Yamawaki is currently a Junior majoring in Rainbows and Butterflies and Poop--which bodes well for her future as she is trying to interconnect all three of these fields with her minor focus in Chemistry. She is taking an integral part to make this field come alive as she sits as Co-chair of the Chemistry DUG. On her off time, she relaxes at her dorm in Buxton House thinking about her interests: Ostriches and Chio. From there, she views the world with a unique, Scientologist-ical perspective. With a mother who grew up in a exotic, South American country, this full-blooded Japanese girl knows something about the world or two. Why? Because she's fluent in Japanese AND Spanish. And, English.

Reina Saiki, Treasurer

Brown '10

Reina is always on her toes. She is known for her dedication toward ballroom dancing, as she has been part of the Brown Ballroom Dance Team for over two years now. During the school year, she keeps herself busy with dance, which she extravagantly and successfully performs at the numerous tournaments away. During the non-academic time of the year, she is also on her toes--but this time, around the world. Reina has traveled all over the world--London, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Morocco, to name a few. Her exceptional achievements in dancing are matched by her unfailing accomplishments in JCA as Treasurer, at which she has been spectacular despite the difficult nature of the job. If anyone wants to learn about dancing, the world, or financing, then you know who to go to--Reina!

Kenji is currently a sophomore at Brown. An Aquarius, he is friendly, social, and creative. He enjoys learning different languages, watching the BBC news, and listening to the rain. During his free time, he likes to kick back and relax with some refreshing seltzer water and yummy vegetable platters. If you ever walk by T.F. Green and hear loud drumming noises, chances are, Kenji's there, practicing his drumming skills with Brown's Taiko troupe. And the musical genius doesn't stop there, Kenji is also an avid karaoke enthusiast.

Nehal Doshi, Freshmen Representative

Brown '12

Nehal is currently a freshman at Brown, and is also one of JCA's brand new freshmen reps! Hailing from a place called Futakotamagawa in Japan, Nehal (must have) spent every moment of his adolescent days roaming around nekotamainutama playing with cute little kittens and puppies. Rumor has it that Nehal has his own little stash of Japanese food hidden in a secret compartment in his room. In his free time when he is not guarding his precious food, Nehal enjoys playing soccer, ping-pong and the drums.
