Information: A long way from his home range of Montana, Ian Gray is a junior Modern European History Concentrator at Brown University. At a young age, Ian heard stories from his grandfather about this strange force called Nature and vowed that one day he would encounter this marvelous and extraordinary phenomenon, whatever the cost. He began preparing by surviving for weeks at a time in the Woods on ants, berries and pinecones. He read Hatchet and the Just-So Stories. He practiced with his atlatl. Finally the time came, and in the midst of a clearing, in the deep and silent forests of the Bob Marshall Wilderness the Great Spirit flew overhead, and with his Bushnell Discoverer 61-0142 binoculars Ian could faintly make out the letters C-E-S-S-N-A S-K-Y-H-A-W-K. Egad, the grating hum of the Thunderbird itself! Ever since this sighting, Ian's kept the secret to himself, but modestly hopes to share his efforts as Features Editor with the fortunate readers of this journal.
