Global Relations Officer
Diana Perdomo works in collaboration with members of the Office of Global Engagement (OGE) and individual faculty members to advance Brown University's international and transnational efforts in the areas of research, teaching, and service. She is currently the central facilitator for international partnership agreements and also manages the operations related to the Global Experiential Learning and Teaching (GELT) grant program, Brown Global Forums and the International Visiting Scholars Program (IVSP).
Prior to joining Brown, Diana served in communications and development roles for a number of youth-focused nonprofit organizations such as Girl Scouts of the USA, The Mentoring Partnership of New York, and Brooklyn Community Housing and Services.
Her background in education includes teaching in the rural south of Thailand, as well as helping to implement a Thai/Malay intercultural student exchange.
A native of Los Angeles, Diana holds a B.A. in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Public Affairs from the Taubman Center for Public Policy and American Institutions at Brown University. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys travel, scuba diving, and the culinary arts.
