Brown participates in salary surveys to gather information about competitive pay practices. Analysis of this data is used to determine the annually adjusted salary ranges which go into effect at the beginning of the fiscal year (July 1st).
Salary offers routinely fall within the first quartile of the applicable salary range for the position's grade level. If candidates have substantial and directly related education, experience, and skills allowing competent performance to be achieved with a minimal learning curve, the starting salary may be set up to the range's midpoint.
