Each year, Brown University receives hundreds of visitors and delegations to the University, who are with us for anywhere from a few hours to a few days. The Office of International Affairs plans visit itineraries according to the interests of visitors, connecting the visitors with their counterparts at the University and promoting dialogue on issues of common interest. For a list of visits recently managed through the Office of International Affairs, see Recent Visits.
International Affairs also manages the International Visiting Scholars Program (IVSP), which brings students and faculty from Brown's partner international institutions to Brown for visits of a few months, a semester, or a year.
Sarah Daly is the central coordinator for international delegations. She is also available, on a case by case basis, to consult with departments or other University units hosting international visitors.
If you plan to visit as a scholar from one of Brown’s partner institutions, please see International Visiting Scholars Program.
For information on moving to Providence from abroad, please visit the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS) Student/Scholar Handbook.
