Department of Public Safety

How Can DPS Help You?

We are a full-service public safety department that serves the Brown Community 24 hours a day, seven days a week, patrolling the campus to deter crime, develop community relations, and respond to calls for service and assistance.

For Emergency Police, Fire, Medical Response (24-hour), call (401) 863-4111

For Non-Emergency DPS Response, call (401) 863-3322 or email campus_safety@brown.edu

For Accessibility options, text (401) 863-4111

We are conducting our biennial survey and would love to hear from you! All feedback will remain anonymous to DPS staff: https://bit.ly/3OLtnpb

Upon the completion of your survey, you can choose to enter in a giveaway for a Beats Solo ³ Wireless Headphones, Brown University Crimson Rolled Blanket, or a Brown University Gear Full Zip Woodmark Hoodie (L)
