W-2 Form/2013 Wage Statement
Tax document information for students
A W-2 Form is a standard tax document that reports total annual wages and tax withholdings of a worker. Student W-2 Forms were issued by the Payroll Office in January. For students currently enrolled, W-2s were mailed to the Campus Box. For all other students, W-2s were mailed to the primary permanent address on record with the University.
Students who worked on-campus in 2013 may access a copy of their Form W-2 via Workday. This includes students who are currently enrolled, on leave or who graduated in 2013. After logging into Workday, select “All About Me” and then “Pay”. Under “View” you will see an option for “My Tax Documents”. From there, you can view and print your W-2.
Students who have questions or need assistance with completing tax forms should consult with a family member or tax advisor. The IRS web site also provides information on how to obtain free assistance on preparing tax forms , as well as access to free on-line filing software. Information regarding Rhode Island state taxes is available on the RI Division of Taxation web site.
