Fines are payable within twenty-one (21) calendar days of issuance. Failure to pay fines within the allotted time period may jeopardize future parking privileges. Vehicles with outstanding parking citations are subject to towing at owner’s expense if parked in a University lot.
Paying a Parking Citation
Payment of fines by credit card can be made online via Park@Brown, in person at the Transportation Office during business hours, or by mail sent to Brown University, Transportation Office, Box 1865, Providence, RI 02912.

** Towing cost and storage fees are payable to the towing company and are in addition to the fine.
Parking Citation Appeals
An individual who has received notice of a parking citation may appeal the fine within ten (10) days of issuance of the citation via the Appeals Section of the Park@Brown. After the 10 day appeal period has expired, the ticket will no longer be eligible for appeal.
The Administration will render a decision within ten (10) business days after the appeal has been received. The Park@Brown system will generate an email notifying the appellant of the Administration’s decision. It is the responsibility of the person filing the appeal to provide a current email in the Park@Brown system, as the appeal decisions are supplied by email. All appeals decisions are final.
