Writers' Group offers developmentally disabled adults at Blackstone Valley Industries a forum to express themselves through creative writing. Writers' Group encourages both developmentally disabled adults and Brown student volunteers to develop their personal creativity and communicative skills through weekly writing workshops. The program strives to foster understanding between volunteers and writers and to increase awareness of the challenges facing the developmentally disabled community.
