Search for New Director of the Swearer Center

Brown University has begun a nationwide search for a new Director of the Swearer Center for Public Service and Associate Dean for Engaged Scholarship. The University seeks an experienced administrator to provide leadership, strategic direction, and management of one of the oldest public service centers housed in a university. The Swearer Center leads Brown University initiatives that integrate teaching, learning, and practice in order to advance scholarship and to produce a public benefit.

Meet Fourteen College Advisors Changing Lives Across R.I.

Each year, the College Advising Corps selects fourteen exceptional recent college graduates to serve in high schools across Rhode Island as full-time College Advisors. 

Housed within the Swearer Center for Public Service, the College Advising Corps seeks to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college and underrepresented students who enter and complete higher education.
