The CAC offers grants to Brown faculty and students through four major grant programs.

Fitt Artist-in-Residence Grant Program

Spring 2013 Deadline: March 6

Beginning on Monday, January 28, the CAC will accept Letters of Interest for CAC Fitt Residency Grants, through Monday, February 11.  Once a Letter of Intent has been received, faculty will be sent a link to our online applicaiton system.

The Lawton Wehle Fitt ’74 Artist-in-Residence Endowment provides funding to Brown faculty in support of artist residencies of one week or longer. Proposals should support an artist distinguished in his/her field, willing to spend a large portion of the residency interacting with students, through workshops, master classes, etc. Fitt Grants are offered each semester for residencies to take place at least two semesters in the future. Maximum award: $10,000.
