At the annual meetings of the American Education Research Association on May 2, 2010, Professor Kenneth Wong was presented the David Colton Award for his significant contributions to the development of the Politics of Education Association (PEA). Professor Wong is a former president of the PEA, a national research association that focuses on issues of school politics and governance. The Colton Award is given once every three years by this research association.
