How to Find an Internship Part I

In this program we will review the resources and strategies necessary to find a summer internship. If you know what you are looking for or have no idea what you want to do, this program will help. We will also review the LINK program, funding for unpaid or low-paying internships. Part I of a 2 part series. Must be able to attend BOTH programs. Second event is on Tuesday, 10/28 from 4-5pm.

Minding the Gap: Research and Publishing in Translational Medicine Megan Frisk, Ph.D. Associate Editor, Science Translational Medicine The translational research path is a continuum, with steps ranging from basic biomedical research to clinical trials to commercialization. This path is not as smooth or as straight as often envisioned--it's really more of a network of research that works toward a common goal of improving patient health. Sometimes, translation also works in the reverse, where clinical problems feed back into preclinical or basic research.

Superfund Research Program Seminar Series

The Superfund Research Program (SRP) Seminar Series is held on the first Friday of each month, 12:00-1:00pm, during the academic year. Topics include a wide range of topics relevant to the theme of our SRP such as environmental health, co-exposure, human health, engineering, land re-use, and community outreach issues.
