New Website

Brown School of Engineering Launches New Website

After more than six months of designing, planning, and testing, the Brown School of Engineering is pleased to unveil its new Drupal-based website (http://www.brown.edu/academics/engineering).

The key differences between the new and old sites are apparent right on the front page. Regular visitors to the site will notice that the new site is much more visually appealing. A main feature story with a large picture and four smaller pictures replaced the old listing of four stories with no pictures.

Nurmikko and Donoghue join U.S. BRAIN initiative

Neuroscientist John Donoghue and engineer Arto Nurmikko were on hand at the White House Tuesday morning, April 2, as President Barack Obama announced a new “Grand Challenge” initiative called BRAIN — Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies.
